By choosing sustainable packaging we can make our own small but important contribution to the environment, without sacrificing aesthetics and functionality. For ‘Amare’ we have chosen sustainable materials:
OCEAN BOUND PP
C-PCR CLEAR
from UPM Raflatac for the label on the bottom layer and for the back label, made from plastics harvested from the oceans.
The chosen material is made from 90% chemically recycled post-consumer waste and allows for improved waste management and reduced environmental impact.
from UPM Raflatac for the top layer, made from 100% recycled fibre from FSC-certified materials sourced from protected forests.
The paper has an elegant white shade that, combined with the delicate felt-marked surface, gives the label a distinct personality and sensory pleasure to the touch.
for the oil drops dripping from the neck of the bottle, 100% recycled and recyclable.
Pewter, made from goldsmith’s tin, is non-polluting, 100% recycled and infinitely recyclable.
It adds value to the product by raising its perceived value for the consumer.
Olio “Amare” comes to life thanks to an NFC, Near Field Communication device placed between the transparent label that wraps the bottle and the paper label depicting the sea.
By bringing your smartphone close to the product, you can access a web page full of content. History of the oil mill, an in-depth look at the photographer and the birth of the project, focus on the creative and printing techniques that led to the creation of the packaging. Text content, photos, videos.
All this information, which cannot be reproduced on a single label, is available, usable and implementable thanks to NFC technology. And not only a communication function, but also a brand protection function. In fact, the NFC tag also acts as an anti-counterfeiting device, eliminating the possibility of product forgery.
